British Sugarcraft Guild "Sugarcraft North" exhibition - June 2013

I'm delighted to announce that two of my entries in the recent British Sugarcraft Guild's "Sugarcraft North" exhibition won awards.  My hatbox-style cake won Silver in the "Sugarpaste Cake" category, whilst my "Fairy and Toadstool" miniature was rated "Highly Commended".  I was also thrilled to be invited to exhibit on the Guild's "Table of Honour" alongside some very talented cake artists - I chose to make a signature scooter sugar model.

International Sugarcraft Exhibition 2012 - The International Centre, Telford - May 2012

I was very honoured to be asked by the British Sugarcraft Guild to exhibit a piece of my work on the prestigious Table of Excellence at the British Sugarcraft Guild's 7th International Exhibition 2012.  As the exhibition was around the time of the Diamond Jubilee, I decided put a humorous twist on the royal theme.  The cake was later featured on the front cover of the Guild's "Sugarcraft" magazine and was also displayed at National Trust property Beningbrough Hall over the Jubilee weekend.
